Kind of a busy day here today. Alison had a play therapy appointment at noon. She really loves her therapist and likes to go see her. Today they worked on some guided imagery relaxation techniques. I told her that we were going over to a friend's house that has tons of pets so she worked with Alison on how to relax and enjoy herself.
We came home for a little while and then went to our friends. They were super nice and put their dogs (huskies) out in the garage in their kennels. Alison was a little scared when we first got there, but within 1/2 hour she was playing happily. She didn't go downstairs (where there are 2 extremely shy kitties, that we couldn't even find for Ian who really wanted to see them). She complained that she didn't want to leave so I consider our visit a success.
