Alison is healing fine. Dr said that she doesn't need any other follow-up care unless something happens that I think we need to see him. The whole visit was so fast that we didn't get to finish the book we had started in the waiting room so we sat back down and finished the last few pages since we both wanted to see how it ended. How sad are we? It was a cute story though.
We noticed something really neat on the way home. Back on Dec 27th we had a sudden thaw and lots of flooding. Today when we were driving through the river flats we noticed that there are rings of ice on all the trees about 12-18 inches above the current water level. It was really neat!
Good news about the storm too. So far it hasn't hit us. It's really cold, but the sun is shining. Yay sun! The roads are pretty much clear. Not a bad day at all.
